Yes, the old MSI was deleted very long ago here, too, but the Microsoft Fix-It tool for cleaning up and correcting (un)installer issues still managed to locate /something/ about it, because it is always listed in the list of things produced by the Fix-It tool. But even the Fix-It tool does not seem to want to actually /remove/ whatever it is finding, or it needs a non-obvious (to me) incantation to make it do so.
