I use the default settings. (I also found out how to set the quoted text back 
to default red.) I didn't intend to see George's email black-on-black, and that 
was even with a version (on my side) that did not have themes I could choose. I 
have no reason to believe that George intended it to look differently.

In any case, I don't want to use themes, I just want to read emails. My choice.
