Hello, Thomas F!

Surely, we should. Nevertheless, I would recommend to install a good
antivirus program (I prefer Kaspersky antivirus, www.avp.ru, but it's
a matter of taste and belief ;) to get warned about trojans on the
computer (and to update the antivirus definitions on a daily basis).
And a good firewall to not let the trojans (which weren't detected by
antivirus) to send any information from your computer. The two
firewalls that can do this job reliably (that is they really check
what program sends what), are ZoneAlarm (a very simple to setup, but
not as powerful as Tiny Personal Firewall) and Tiny Personal Firewall
(www.tinysoftware.com). I would recommend the latter - it has a very
powerful filter rules system, is evolving quite fast. The latest
version is 2.0 build _14_. If still not available on the official
download page, find there a link to the TinyFirewall YahooGroup, and
download from there.

This site is a good source for info on firewalls, too. ;)
