For some reason, TB! and my isp got confused about what messages were
new, and 220 messages which had been downloaded before got downloaded
again. When I killed dupes in all folders, there were still ten
messages left, which turned out to be ten messages from Brian Fine
which I had deleted due to their nature (or lack thereof). I deleted
those again, and had no messages remaining and the account tree was
clean.
The ticker, however was still running, and when I double clicked on it
I got a list longer than the screen, which I suppose was all 220
messages although I did not look to confirm this. It seems like the
ticker should have disappeared when there were no unread messages, as
verified by the account tree.
