Have you tried, for testing purposes, to install your own direct SMTP server such a Mercury/32 (freeware) at http://www.pmail.com/downloads.htm and see if this direct transport still shows clipped messages? If your ISP does not block port 25 then this test setup will give you an extremely good idea if this issue is The_Bat! or your ISP.
