Including the plugin developers (who thought it was important enough to go through the effort to develop the plugins). In particular, Spampal (et. al.) might not be appropriate because ... ... Spampal (last time I checked) could not connect to all email servers. Mine uses NTLM authentication, for example, which is the main reason I use TB (*big* thanks for that one guys) ... ... some of us don't want the headache/resource drain of yet another service running ... ... some of us prefer to have all of our email "stuff" in one place/package. Take your pick.
