There seems to be strong feelings and evidence on the part of
the moderator(s) that, for the foreseeable future, the archive
is safe from spam harvesting. Their stance on this subject
seems solid and not subject to change unless overwhelming
evidence would be offered to the contrary.

I would suggest that this ongoing argument, while certainly
important, seems to have reached an impasse and, as such, the
members of this list will have to make up their own minds
whether or not to post here, based on their perceived notions
of security.
