Hello Charles,
9>> I'm trying to say, that developer is just a man with his private life.
CMG> Stop. Noone is accusing you of not working hard anymore. Like I said,
CMG> one time deal.
I'm talking not about hard working, it was just an introduction to why
we make bugs (and fix them not so quickly as many tester expect) and
how we prefer to communicate :)
9>> And therefore I prefer to have one list (for beta-testers) - one
9>> community.
CMG> having a community. Therefore, the other gentleman proposed a TBIMAP
CMG> forum, so we can attack the IMAP issues as a group.
Again, read posts why I prefer to work personally, just an argument
(if you deleted that thread):
If bug is often and reproducable for me - I don't need a group attack,
just to think how to avoid it.
If bug is random - only working with one person who is qualified
enough and who gets that bug often can help me to find the reason.
Working with group only makes me crazy - one says that it happens in
..., other says that it happens ... and I have that search area
becomes wider not narrows.
CMG> It's not that I'm lazy, but I for one am very quick with the delete key
CMG> and I even filter out messages server-side to get rid of things that are
CMG> not interesting to, so for me, the following is not relevant.
I know. Big part of my messages went to your server were marked as spam :)
CMG> So, why not create a different forum? You use the features of TB! to
CMG> create the one Virtual Folder TBBETA list you want, and I promise you
CMG> you will get a higher quality feedback from the IMAP users here, of
Why quality will be higher? Only because absence of other messages?
