I know that.

If one of the sub filters is not activated then I want the message sorted by
other messages at the top level.

Why.

I want to filter all my list traffic and all my personal traffic, and I
think that I should be able to do sort for spam as well.

I want each list to go into it's separate folder but each time I join a list
I don't want to have to change the top level filter to say this is in a list
and then create one for the list to move it.
