Other possibilities include remembering the current viewmode, and subsequently having the option to - return to the saved viewmode - change the saved viewmode to match the current settings - change to some other viewmode (or none) I think I would like temporary changes to a folder's view settings not to be remembered across shutting the program down. I do not yet use viewmodes, but if I do, I want them them to be persistent and carefully crafted (like styles in a word-processor document) and not easily accidentally changed. It does seem that different users have very different visions for this sort of feature Tim -- Tim Using The Bat! v3.0.1.33 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is (none) | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
