Hello Ian,

That is why I say Cancel _function_ and button. Writing the changes
immediately, and I'm very sorry I have to say this, only shows a poor
initial top level design. Even more because the Sorting Office is or can
be a quite complex "configuration dialog". However. I don't think it
should be that difficult to copy the account.srx file to a temp one when
the Sorting Office is opened and only write back the tem file to the
account.srx one when exiting with the OK button. The "only difficulty" I
see is that S.O. allows to change to another account with the drop down
list at the top, maybe that shouldn't be allowed or, if the user has
made any changes in one account, should be asked if he/she wants to save
the changes.

I don't know if thing are as simple as I see them, but I definitely
think a Cancel function/button _is_ needed and I find it quite annoying
that it may be considered just a feature request for the wish-list.
Aside of being a standard in any "configuration dialog", the actual
possible complexity of the Sorting Office (and perhaps the difficulty of
remember changes made) is another big reason to have a Cancel button.
