You have perfectly described the need in the full text of your post. I
100% agree with you.

I did not mean to imply that this function should be relegated to the
Wish List, when I posted "Me Too, add my wish to yours." Bad choice of
words, sorry.

To me this poor design is a bug. I had an exchange with 9Val about the
lack right after I got v. 3.0 and joined the beta testers.

I was referring to my need as "delete function and button." I said to
him, "but I should be able to delete it."

And 9Val replied, "Sure."

But nothing got done yet. I am willing to post this on BT as a bug, if
you agree that it is a good idea to do so and will support my report.
