There is about 4 GB free space at work on partition with the XP
installation and it works, and about 10 GB free space at home on
partition with the Windows 98SE installation and it does not. TEMP
directories are on the same partitions for both.

There is one thing I've remembered now: Disk with W98 has EZ-BIOS
utility on it. This utility helps system to recognize large capacity
disk if motherboard BIOS does not support them.
