Perhaps there's a problem with the message base that TB! cannot fix, the only evidence being that there's a problem with compressing it. I'd create a new folder, setup the purge settings, and copy the messages to it. When finished, attempt a purge and compress of that new folder with a newly created message base. -- -= Allie =- .....
