Hello Michael, > Why do so many macros exist, when no one wants to see them used. > BayesIT! has macros, Bayes Filter has macros, MyMAcros has macros, > Zombie has MAcros, yet no one seems to use them and no one wants them > included in messages. Why?
Come on Michael, be reasonable. The fact that there are so many macros doesn't mean that you have to always use them all. At least in the signature of your messages to this list where rules limit sigs to 4-6 lines. As Marck says in his reply, there is a time and a place for everything. And this reminds me of a joke: A man is having a bowl of noodle soup at a restaurant. Suddenly he notices a hair in his mouth. He takes it out, places it on the edge of the dish and calls the waiter. - Yes, sir? - Look! I found a hair in my mouth! It was in the in the noodle soup!!! - Oh come on! Why do you make such a fuss about a hair in you mouth? I'm sure there are occasions in which you have /many hairs/ in your mouth. - Yes, you are right. But if in those occasions I find a noodle, I will also make a big fuss about it. ;-) -- Best regards, Miguel A.
