At one location, you worked with the folder and deleted messages from it
while doing so.

You now go to another location, start TB! there and the local cache for
the folder still contains those messages you deleted. As a result, the
local cache contains more messages than are actually on the server. With
the next sync operation, the old messages are deleted from the list and
the cache.
