-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello Avi,
A reminder of what Avi Yashar on TBBETA typed on: 19 November 2004 at 14:45:40 GMT +0200 > I am sure that a lot of people have complained on this point, not just a > few TB users. I sincerely hope so. >feel free to use my arguments as if they are your own. :-) Still waiting for a reply from them but thank you. > TB works with Gmail, but it requires more savvy than it should to make > that happen. Not sure what problems you had configuring TB! but I found following the instructions for "Other" (As in other email clients) very easy to follow and they worked first time. I think the major problem is knowing what the difference is between SSL and STARTTLS. They're not the usual settings or ports used by normal ISP type servers that people are used to. > This is all that I was saying here. Think of it as another documentation > complaint. And I believe that the documentation for setting up TB! should be on the Google site. After all Eudora is there and nowhere in Eudor's documentation do they mention gmail so why should The Bat include it... Come to think of it how many people do you know that use Eudora? - -- Best regards, Tony. _____________________________________________________________ Message composed on 19/11/2004 at 16:43 UTC 2004 - AWB Using The Bat! v3.0.2.7 on Windows XP 5. 1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.5 Turbo Diesel Injection Land Rover Defender 110 iQA/AwUBQZ4mdNanuJ+T+uXWEQK7kQCg9cBC0qrA4evXb2amtr7D5uFoZ0wAoLCJ SrFAI8m84Y2x4e3Oex/NcAn4 =dhsN -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.0.2.7 Rush | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
