Not really. I'd agree if they were still selling The Bat!, SecureBat! and AbacusBat! etc. I'd agree that this wouldn't really represent diversification.

However, they're quite diverse.

An e-mail client and a mailserver are quite different and require their special attention and focus.

They're producing multiple products with their only relationship being in the interest of e-mail.

The Bat! Private Disk is a spin off the SecureBat! encryption it would seem. Perhaps MicroEd will be another spin-off.
