Sure, you're probably breaking proper character conversion, which
might be particularly important if you're are non-US codepage user. :)

The previous version of GPG didn't use iconv.dll at all, so I'm not
sure how much you will miss without it in the current version.

But this is just a workaround for now: either GPG won't run at all, or
it will run with possibly incorrect character translations.
Hopefully either The Bat, GPG, or both will be fixed soon, then we'll
be able to use libiconv properly.
