Well, Orthodox Church does use the Julian calendar. In Russia the
calendar was switched over only after the the coup in 1917. The
official church however refused to adopt it. So you can probably say
that the Three Kings Day is somewhat connected to the old calendar,
however people in the countries Max mentioned celebrate Christmas on
this day and not the Three Kings Day.
