Agreed. I've been using Entourage more often lately on my PowerBook,
and while it has its annoyances, I've been pretty happy with the way
it handles a lot of things, including IMAP. In Entourage, the message
is grayed out in the message list and when you click on it there's a
system message at the top (think Firefox/IE popup protection)
indicating that the message hasn't been fully downloaded with a link
allowing you to do so. This works well in allowing the user to
download the text of a message without the attachments, at which
point, the message can be processed as spam and useless attachments
never downloaded.
