Take that up with Ritlabs.  They, not I, have
specifically designated the current series as pre-beta.
Perhaps you missed their explanation, Miguel?

Well I'll be, you do understand :-)

However, my action is due to lack of time to spend
testing pre-beta ideas that may never see a beta
version - not any lack of appreciation of you or any
other of the pre-beta testers.

No, I will skip topics for which I have little interest
- such as IMAP.  But when Ritlabs removes the "pre-," I
plan to download the next beta and resume testing.
