In the past, if I wanted to test pre-beta versions, I would check out those versions at: http://www.ritlabs.com/download/files3/the_bat/beta/daily.txt and download the latest at: http://www.ritlabs.com/download/the_bat/beta/daily.rar I would not comment on those pre-beta versions on the beta list - I would write directly to the developers. Now we have a "released" pre-beta and plenty of traffic on the beta list. Perhaps a separate alpha or pre-beta list would be a better place for these non beta discussion to take place.
