I was running V3.0.1.33 and tried every alpha version Ritlabs have
released, none would update this version and even allow TB! to start,
just a cascade of AV's down the screen that eventually petered out with
wild hard disk activity! Only way to get an alpha to work was as a new
install. But as soon as i tried to update the new install with my back
up it was back to the AV's.
OK, they are all alphas and hopefully a release version WILL work, but
now i have found a most irritating bug that Ritlabs fixed a while back
is here to haunt me again. I am finding that if i am reading an unread
message in a folder whilst new mail is being downloaded from a POP3
server, the message I am currently reading disappears from my screen, i
am dumped in another folder, with the old message marked as read, and
the folder view mode no longer able to show it. It was a PITA, and it
was fixed a while ago. However, i am now experiencing this again even
with the release version of TB! professional 3.0.1.33
What have I done? Why will NONE of these alphas work for me save as a
new install, and only then until I try to update my settings by
restoring from a back up?
