Of course. Understood.

I just don't know what to do to make v. .16 receive mail for me.

The tbuser.def file is gone. The .xml files are renamed. I don't have
any glyph files.

I don't have an anti-virus plug-in.
(I'm running F-Secure 2005.)

I renamed the Bayesit file, even though I don't use it.

What can be upsetting my system when I call the Connection Centre to
"Receive Mail"?

I got v. .16 up and running smoothly, and it even sent mail just fine
for me. But cascading AVs and frozen Bat are the answer to a "Receive
Mail" command, so I've had to drop back to v. .13.
