Hi Gleason Pace,

you let us know -at least in parts- :

No, I have found it by chance: There must have been a wrong default
setting while setup in ticker in options - preferences - mail ticker.

Remember: I installed it on a new machine and had to use a msi-file from
Ritlabs, this could not have been done by a updated beta exe-file. I
used the latest available stable version from Rit's homepage and
imported my mailbase later. So I must have overseen to check the three
options "messages: normal - high - low" which by the way is a rather
lousy explanation if any. So when I check all three options I got my
ticker back.

Sometimes you're the bug and sometimes you're the widescreen!!

Thank you all out there for searching with me, and in case of anyone
likes being mad at me because of the traffic: you haven't known it
either! :-)
