MB> Are you reading in Preview Pane?

Yes, I am using the preview pane. Its not that that messages aren't
kept in order, its thay are forced off the top of the list.

A better explanation is required:
When using preview pane, having messages sorted by thread, viewing All
Messages.
If I receive some new messages, say 5, they could be scattered through
all the currently read messages. I then select View/Display/Only Unread
Messages.
In the message list it now appears I only have one unread message,
even though there are 5. If I scrollup the message list I will now see
the other messages. Since there is lots of room in the message list
pane this should not happen and did not happen before RC7.
Also, when I select the "first" unread message, nothing shows in the
preview pane. I have to select a second ,message and then go back to
the first message before I can see it.
