Thank you for your support Allie, had I read your reply before I sent my own I perhaps wouldn't have needed to send it. It's not actually my ISP. I pay extra for my domain name and email service to 1and1.co.uk. It's they who have just recently started to provide IMAP access so I guess they still have teething problems to sort out. -- Tony.
