It's one of the benefits of our mailing list community that we can do that. >> ... I used to manage okay with them, although I didn't feel safe from the hackers and the malware. But with MailWasher Pro available, plus being behind a router on broadband, I could manage POP3 without TB! and feel fairly comfortable. >> And I do think the intention is to do that. But there was enough lightning in it that I didn't want to risk luring a strike in onto the computer. My APC battery back-up with its Power Chute program takes care of power failure and power surges, in adjunct with my up-to-date surge protector. But where lightning's concerned, I think, "Better safe than sorry." :) -- Best regards, Mary The Bat 3.5.25 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.5.25 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
