Ah, Miguel, I've been too long in the Bat Cave. The lingo is
contagious. :)

I mean this:

1) Read a message with Smileys in it, using RTV and the Smiley
function enabled.

2) Reply to it using the following steps:

a) Highlight (select) the part of the message you wish to quote, using
the left button of the mouse to do the highlighting (selecting).

b) Hold down the "Shift" key with your preferred finger and
simultaneously click the Reply arrow on the toolbar.

3) The highlighted (selected) text will be quoted, but randomly, and
more often than not, for me, great woe will occur: the smiley text
will be omitted. This happens more often when there are two lines of
text, with the smiley at the end of the second line.

This bug simply imposes an extra chore on me, since I do enjoy reading
in RTV and seeing the smiley images. Lest I leave an important one out
in my quoting, I switch to PTV if I want to reply, and quote from a
PTV of the message to which I'm replying.

But, everyone is at risk from being misquoted with this bug in
existence. You never know who will decide to quote from an RTV reading
of your post and perhaps omit your smiley. :(

Sometimes causing misunderstandings. :(
