<chuckle> You have to understand the nature of the beast here. Remember the days of TV's that had those tubes in them that needed heated up. If you wish to watch TV at 9:00pm, you had to switch on at 8:55pm? :) Well Mulberry is sort of solid state, while TB! can often behave like the tube TV. <chuckle> The analogy ends here: TB! works differently from Mulberry in how it caches and works with message lists. Unlike Mulberry, TB! needs to cache the entire message list for a mailbox locally before you can start viewing messages in the mailbox. If you haven't used TB! IMAP for a while, then the cache for the various mailboxes you have will require significant updating. A lot of headers will need adding etc. As a result, TB! will appear bogged down and unresponsive. There'll be delays when trying to view messages. However, when the updating is finished things get much better. I'm not really trying to justify this behaviour, but it does help when you expect it. So what I'd do is while running Mulberry, just start TB! and leave it to poll the server etc. on it's own. There's no problem running both clients at the same time. After about 5 minutes, just click on each of your folders to trigger a header sync. Leave TB! alone and continue with Mulberry while TB! updates the folders. After another 10 minutes. Try using TB!. Tell me how it goes. ;) I'm using FastMail too so I know that you should not be having too bad a time. I'm not stretching things here. I'm actually managing and using TB! despite no longer feeling inclined to use it while having to 'gyrate' too much. I don't have to gyrate much at all. -- -= Allie M.=- Using TB! v3.5.30 System Specs: http://www.landscreek.net/sysspecs.htm =-=-= ...Peace through superior firepower. ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.5.30 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
