Which is, of course, what I expected, Mary. I also don't even use such
words in everyday speech. I also don't write such words, which is why
I put in the dashes - that were, unfortunately, "way too thin" for Mr.
Pearlstone (who probably never goes to the movies - or even out of his
house - for fear of encountering such words).

My point was simple. Those other words do exist. I don't like them. I
don't use them. But it was really strange for me to see you stating:
"No, no! Uncouth is good!" and then rambling on about how you only
object to words like "hell" and "damn", which really don't bother me
at all. I mean, let's face it - even Shakespeare used stronger
language than that! For example "'sblood" - now there's some real
blasphemy for you.
