I checked the size of my tbuser.def and noticed it was 16,635
bytes. After renaming it and allowing a new one to be created it now
is only 875 bytes after some customizing. It only seems to contain my
toolbar positions and the changes I have made. It did cure the missing
line in the Specials menu, but not the problem in the Address book.

This leads me to the conclusion that this info is hard coded into the
program now and only changes to the norm are kept in tbuser.def. My
guess is changing the tbuser.def we now use is inevitable, to get rid
of the extra settings that were causing the problem. It may be
possible to delete the extra info from the file, rather than
recreating it all.
