I completely sympathize with your point of view. If all I wanted was a reliable e-mail client, I would still be using 3.0.2.10 myself. (I like the 3.xx series almost solely because of its simpler filter-creation process; regular expressions stymied me in the 1.xx and 2.xx series.) I don't have to use TB! in a business environment or to make a living with. So I have the luxury of enjoying the puzzle-solving aspect of beta testing. Further, I have learned. in the short time I've been a member of the Bat community, how to protect myself with back-ups. TB! is the most enjoyable and useable and safe e-mail client that I've ever had on my machine. (Never used POCO or Incredimail-- lol .) Began (because of my knowledgeable daughter-in-law) with Eudora Pro 4.0, ran OE for a short time before moving to The Bat!, tried Pegasus for a few days when my very first download of TB! was a corrupted one and I didn't have the skills to understand what to do about it. Then I settled down with v. 1.61 and have never looked back. I am totally committed to The Bat! and I do keep my faith in its developers. But then, I am a woman in love. ;) -- Best regards, Mary The Bat Pro 3.51.3 (no OTFE) POP3 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.51.3 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
