Yes, you're right. One should always use only US-ASCII characters and I do 
that for many years now. But that's not the point, Peter.
You tell me to not use any of these characters, that's fine. But who's going 
to tell this *all* other people?
Hint: Bug report was opened on 3rd of January 2005...

But to be honest, I don't want to bring this discussion to another useless 
flame-level... I just wanted to point out, that there is an entry in the 
fabulous BT, which might correspond with Avis problem.
