Ah. Now I see. I don't normally have "Message Auto-View" enabled, because I don't like to read my messages that way. I enabled it, and just as you say, even though I have clicked to open the message, I can see it in clear text in the Preview Pane. I will put a modifying note to my BT Wish List report. >> So, I don't know what is different in your set-up from mine. > I'm using PGP 8.0.3 but besides that... I think the version of PGP is not affecting this. Using Preview Pane (Message Auto-View) makes the clear text available for viewing and for copy-and-paste to a new message. Still, for an apparent novice like me--still learning every day--I think some sort of warning dialogue box when trying to open in a View Folder window or Edit Mail Message window would be a welcome help. Thanks a million for everything, Alexander. -- Best regards, Mary The Bat 3.61.05 Echo (Beta) on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.61.05 (Echo) | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
