Peter, this is simply not logical. OTFE is not a factor for you, but
that does not mean it is not a factor for others. Perhaps there is
some difference in the way you implemented OTFE or the message base on
which you implemented OTFE.

Maxim, if you cannot reproduce the problem, then my guess is that you
have not tried to reproduce it on a sufficient number of trial message
bases that were converted from Non-OTFE to OTFE.

In my case, I simply do the necessary backup and restore required for
the transition from Non-OTFE to OTFE. Then, when I go to search the
same folders with the same messages that I had successfully searched
in Non-OTFE, my OTFE search hangs interminably. This indicates to me
that the problem is definitely OTFE-related. Of course, it might be
due to some problem with the backup-restore process, but even then, it
is still OTFE related simply because this is the way we are instructed
to migrate to OTFE.
