*IMO*, I don't like where PGP is going, i.e., down the road of creeping 'featuritis' and bloat that really doesn't serve well those with the simple needs of secure messaging using PGP/GnuPG technology. As a result, with each installation and upgrade, you breathe a sigh of relief when it seems to work well without otherwise affecting the system, and you need one of those modern screamer processors to reduce the wait time after hitting the verification button when checking a signature.
OTOH, GnuPG and GPGShell (Win32 frontend) make for a nice solution that entails a harmless installation routine which you never have to worry about compromising your systems integrity. GnuPG is VERY quick and integrates quite well with TB!.
It's possible to have both running on the same system, so you could try both and make your decision.
