there is a pastry I often ate for breakfast when I was in Spain, and I
think you or I should send him one of those to go with the coffee. It
is called an elephant ear in US, I think a beaver tail in Canada, and
a palmier in France, but I can't for the life of me remember what to
call it in El Escorial.
