Me too. Here's what happened:

1) I tried a cross-folder search on the word "dutaint" in Header for
TBBETA and TBOT. Nothing happened. In less than a second, finished,
and "no message loaded."

2) I set up a cross-folder search with "thebat.dutaint.com" in Header
and in Text. Changed to "any string should match."

3) Same effect as in 1). Then I clicked on the X to close the window.
   a) Got a box with The Bat! on the bar at the top and the words "Out
of memory" in the text field. Told it OK.
   b) Got an AV 7C93215B in module ntdll.dll Read of address EB91A118
      Told it OK.
   c) Got an AV 7C92AE22 in module ntdll.dll Read of address 62740000
Tried to close it with the X.
   d) Got another Out of memory box. Told it OK.
   e) Got an AV 7C811800 in module ntdll.dll Read of address 00000000
   f) Tried to close it with the X.
   g) Got cascading (slowly) Out of memory boxes.

4) Closed TB! with the Task Manager.
5) Re-launched TB! and apparently no lasting damage was done and no
   further problems.

I believe I shall refrain from further searching using TB! v. 3.65. :)
