Not a bad idea indeed, thanks. It's no permanent solution though, every time I want to access a folder I would have to do this: - select folder - switch view mode - select other folder - come back to the folder to see changed view mode ... and this for every folder, on every access after I switched machines. I could hire a seperat employee just for this. Almost everything else is saved to the registry. Can a view mode be automatically selected according to the local registry? What about macros: Is it possible to automatically run a macro on selection of folder? This macro would have to read the machine name and selectthe apropriate viewmode.
