An other Idea would be (without having tried out):
   - after Restore --> close TB!
   - Copy the whole TB!data-folder either to an other 'Temporary'
     Folder on drive G:
     or Copy the whole TB!data-folder temporarily to drive C: (if
     sufficient space available)
     NOTE: this move to prevent deleting of files when un-mapping
   - Un-Mapp drive G: --> becoming drive F:
   - Copy back the whole TB!data-folder
   - check Registry as Roelof wrote
   - Start TB!
   - you may then also check the Preferences and see if TB! points
     properly to your TB!data-folder/-files.

Good luck :)
