Thanks, Paul. I did indeed find tbuser.DEF under MAIL. Don't know how I overlooked it last night, except that I was tired and I was looking for lower-case .def extension. Evidently this extension is not case sensitive. I have renamed it to recenttbuser.DEF. And the box in the middle of my message list is gone. I am now going to delete it, since I don't need any of the Customise changes I made yesterday--I was merely testing. Thanks a mil to everyone--Roelof, Mark, Alexander, Marek, Peter, and Paul! (If I missed anyone, a big thank you also to the forgotten helper.) The mysterious box is gone! :hooray: Or rather, it is back up on the toolbar where it belongs. -- Best regards, Mary The Bat 3.70.07 "Qigong" (Beta) on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.70.07 "Qigong" | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
