Dear User

I feel I have to drop a few notes about previous version of
customisation/interface system
and what we currently have implemented.

The interface of TheBat! can be changing while it is in development stages,
some of these changes we can
add are a lot of new interface items, such as menu modifications, toolbar items
and new buttons.

This strategy of adding new parts to the interface is not compatible with
previous
versions of customisation, as customised objects were saved in TBUSER.DEF
(a script which holds current user changes) entirely.

Thus, if you modified the Main Menu of the general window of TheBat!,
TBUSER.DEF had to include the whole definition of the new user modified Main
Menu.
And if you had a newer version of TheBat! with some new menu items in Main
Menu, you would not see them until you
removed your current changes to Main Menu or re-added new appeared items using
Customiser on
their rightful places.

The new version of customisation/interface system uses a different way to store
user
changes to default TheBat! interface, saving only user modifications. But it
has a
drawback, because old modifications could NOT imported now - default objects
(built in menues, toolbars etc) cannot be modified from TBUSER.DEF anymore, and
importing of possible differences between old and new interface is not trivial.

In future, user modifications and developer-level modifications of interface
will
be merging much better with the help of this new interface system.

However, user-defined toolbars should be importing quite well.

Currently, customisation/interface system is being improved further.
Shortcut (hotkey) conflicts would be introduced again in the near future.

Thank you for attention!
