That's because all active IMAP users left TB! for other email clients.
I switched to MS Outlook 2007 beta at work not long ago. It's GREAT. Outlook
Express is great with IMAP too.

Yes, I am using Cyrus and Dovecot IMAP servers with more than 50k
messages.

Yes TB! can create full local cache and you can browse messages while
offline. But IMAP implementation in TB! is far from usable state. It's
not even in beta state.
