As you realize further down in this message, that isn't possible now that I've switched back to plain rather than OTFE. Yes, I'd favor that. PO> Ok. Although I'm not all that happy having to depend only on a TB PO> backup file. Hence I don't use OTFE. I use TB backup occasionally and PO> use another copy model to save my msg bases (as more on here use: PO> Second Copy), from one PC to another. Yesterday, I set up TB!'s Scheduler to do an incremental backup, using TB!'s backup tool, each night. Later each evening then I have Handy Backup (a backup program similar to Second Copy) include that incremental backup with everything else that is backed up routinely each night by FTP to my web hosting company. What is new in this strategy is having Scheduler to do the daily incremental backup. I'm hoping that, if I should have another incident with TB! such as I had last week, I won't find myself with a backup that is two months out of date the next time. I suppose I could also backup the message bases as just another folder that gets backed up by Handy Backup in that process (without going through TB!'s backup program) but that seems like overkill. I like having TB!'s backup in a format that the program anticipates if you have to restore it in a new installation. -- Regards, Perry Using The Bat! v3.81.14 Beta on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.81.14 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
