No doubt I am truly the dizzy dame which my good friend Thomas Fernandez regards me as. I didn't pay attention to what it said. Hit download, closed TB! after the transfer concluded, set a restore point in XP, and proceeded to install. It offered me Repair and Custom (that should have been a clue, duh!). I chose Custom. Bonus: I got a chance to get rid of the useless (to me) Bayesit, the useless (to me) spellchecker, and the useless (to me) grammar checker. I'm a happy camper, as Help/About says I am still running the Pro version. :) It is nonetheless a major deficiency, to me, though, that TB! tells me lies when I have "notify at launch" enabled, or when I invoke Help/check for update. I think apps should be truthful, as well as human beings. Cry "wolf" at me once too often, and I'm likely to bat you one! (no pun intended, hehehe) -- Best regards, Mary The Bat 3.85.03 on Windows XP 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 ________________________________________________________ Current beta is 3.85.03 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
