But, having said that, I don't see how a propper IMAP implementation affects the speed of rendering the graphics of a window opening/closing. Maybe it has a check like "is there an IMAP account that needs to do something?" per line drawn onto the screen? ;-) This slow gfx rendering adds a lot to the "experience" of TB to me (it used to feel quick and snappy "back then"), and the slowness that creeped into the code somewhere in the 3.5x series is the one issue that keeps annoying me, and I will keep moaning about until its fixed. (and if that may take forever, so be it - ha!;-) -- Best regards, Alexander (http://www.neurowerx.de) Whenever I have to choose between two evils, I always like to try the one I haven't tried before. -- Mae West ________________________________________________________ Current ALPHA is 3.86.03 | 'Using TBBETA' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html IMPORTANT: To register as a Beta tester, use this link first - http://www.ritlabs.com/en/partners/testers/
