Hello Maxim, >>>| T 20061214 001304 4576160c EHLO Maria.ermapper-spain.com > > "nslookup Maria.ermapper-spain.com" gives "can't find > Maria.ermapper-spain.com: Non-existent domain" > > Because this name is not globally-resolvable, The Bat! doesn't send it.
Yes, it is not globally available because I removed the A record, but the domain is a FQDN. But don't tell me that The Bat! does an nslookup of the host (client) machine name it is sending from before connecting to the SMTP server because I will not believe it. First, because it would be an addition to what 3.85.03 does. And second, if that was the case, as both my server and DNS are internal to our network, a nslookup would resolve: Please see: ,----- [ ] | 12/14/06 22:07:03 dns Maria.ermapper-spain.com | Canonical name: Maria.ermapper-spain.com | Addresses: | 192.168.0.5 `----- So, please return to what The Bat! was doing previously. -- Best regards, Miguel A.
