As I have told you in my previous message, these tmp files are net
created/generated by TB. Again I suspect they are created by your
antivirus.

You can keep attachments in a separate directory. See
Account/Properties/Files & Directories/Keep attachment files...

I can't be 100% sure, but my guess is that this is caused by TB and your
antivirus trying to access the same TBI file simultaneously.
